B+E Training - Car & Caravan - Car & Trailer

In addition to our core business we offer car and caravan or car and trailer B+E training. It is not common knowledge that a separate car and caravan or car and trailer B+E licence is required after a certain test date.. This is the legal position.

Anyone who passed their car driving test after 1997 cannot legally tow a trailer or a caravan over 750 kgs. The B+E entitlement is required on the driving licence to tow a caravan or trailer over this weight.

The car and caravan or car and trailer (B+E) test is carried out at an HGV testing centre owing to the lack of room at car driving test centres. Few car instructors do car and trailer or car and caravan B+E training as its very specialised.
